A new Story

We all know how you deal with a mosquito that lands on your foot, cheek or buzzes in your ear. I'd say not in the kindest way.
For Akiiki it was the opposite. picture this - You are seated on the lawn in the evening when all the mosquitoes come out and you see one landing on Akiiki's cheek. Unable to "slap" it for her, you yell out " Akiiki omubu ngungwo haitama" ( Akiiki a mozzie has landed on your cheek). At this point you expect her to use all her tact, and energy to get the critter. Not our Akiiki... all she did is gently rub her cheek like she was applying a super expensive lotion that she has just acquired ....aaaaargh!
