Eden was right about Akiiki's routine of answering phone calls except he missed a few facts. On hearing the phone ring, she would guess who it was, then start singing and dancing while going towards the phone, as she sat down she would then clear her voice. Up to this day I remember very well the last phone call I made to her. The Line was engaged for a very long time, when I eventually went through, she informed me that she had been talking to her beloved sister. I had a hot gossip I wanted to share with her, but then we got carried away about other things. Mum told me that she would be discharged on a Thursday (in two days time). After I had put down the phone, I remembered that I hadn't shared with her the 'gossip' after that she never spoke to anyone again.. I still remember what the gossip was but only it will never be told to her. Mum will never be forgoten
